| New Sydney 38
Chris Lobb launched his new Sydney 38 “Uncensored” in July. Chris is a member of Middle Harbour Yacht Club, and initially plans to sail in the Saturday Middle Harbour club races, to familiarize himself and his crew with the new yacht. Chris is looking to recruit and train up (if necessary) a forward hand to be part of his regular crew. Any body that is interested can call Tim Messenger at Hood Sailmakers on 99050800. Chris’s previous yachts include a Cavalier 350SL and the Mumm 36 Emotional Hooligan, which he had great success with in inshore and offshore racing.

Congratulations to Graham Gibson and the crew of Hidden Agenda, for their hard fought 2nd placing in the Sydney 38 OD Division.
Graham carried a new jib top and assymetrical spinnaker for the race.
As it turned out, they could not have done without them. The conditions they experienced in the race were ideal for the new sails.
Jan Scholten of Contender sailcloth praised the new sails saying they were just perfect.
A new symmetrical masthead spin on UBS Wild Thing helped Geoff Lavis and his crew to a 2nd placing in the overall PHS Division.
Hood Sailmakers Sydney is looking to recruit an experienced sailmaker or apprentices to join their well-respected team. An interest in sailing is preferred but not essential. The sail loft is situated at 19 West St Brookvale 2100
Any one interested should contact Tim Messenger on 99050800 or email sails@hoodaustralia.com.auor visit the website www.hoodaustralia.com.aufor contact details
